Discover what the area around Coastal Park Nieuwpoort has to offer. You can choose to soak up some culture in the nearby cities or go on the sporting tour.

The Belgian coast, with its dunes, beach and sea, of course has much more to offer. With children, a day out to the amusement park Plopsaland de Panne and the swimming paradise Plopsaqua is definitely recommended. Feel like shopping in a bigger city? Then why not visit the historic city of Bruges, some 40 kilometres from the campsite. However, the closer towns of Veurne, Dunkirk and Ostend are also worth a day trip.

Near Nieuwpoort there are several cultural & tourist attractions, especially because of the events in World War II. These include West Front in Nieuwpoort, Nieuport Memorial, Raversyde Atlantic Wall, Fort Napoleon and the Death Row.

Trips in the neighbourhood

For young and old, there are many fun attractions to visit. For example, see the lighthouse, history at Westfront and the beautiful art of Beaufort. Plopsaland amusement park and Bellewaerde are also recommended for families with children.
