Free travel on the Coastal Tram for children this summer
Good news for families holidaying on the Belgian coast this summer! In July and August, children aged 11 and under can travel for free on the Kusttram thanks to a great offer from De Lijn.
All they need? A homemade beach flower made from crepe paper on a stick. During the summer months, this cheerful flower serves as a valid travel ticket for children.
A lovely day out along the Belgian coast
The Coastal Tram makes it easy to explore charming seaside resorts such as Nieuwpoort, De Panne, Ostend or Knokke. It’s ideal for a day at the beach, a stroll along the promenade or a fun family outing.
From Kustpark Nieuwpoort, it’s about a 30-minute walk to the Nieuwpoort-Stad tram stop, so you can easily leave your car behind.
Creative and practical
Not only does this promotion offer free travel, but it also makes the trip extra fun for children under 12. Let them make their own beach flower and turn the tram ride into a summer adventure.
You can find more information about the promotion and the terms and conditions via De Lijn.
